🥋 Recognized Poomsae

  • Vertical Front Kick (Ap-chagi) – Gaze & Head Position

    • Minor Accuracy Deduction (-0.1): Applied if the athlete looks straight forward while in the same direction of the movement, instead of focusing directly at the kicking target.

    • Major Accuracy Deduction (-0.3): Applied if the athlete looks in the completely wrong direction or looks away from the kicking direction.

    • No Accuracy Deduction – Presentation only: Lifting the chin/head during the vertical kick does not trigger an accuracy penalty. However, it may lower the Expression of Energy presentation score.

  • Pair Event – Boundary Regulations

    • Exempt from boundary penalties.

    • Although the pair performs in a side-by-side format, no boundary-line crossing penalties (-0.3) will be assessed during the performance.

🔥 Freestyle Poomsae

  • Jumping Turning Kick – Skill 3

    • Minimum rotation: 540°.

    • The mandatory spinning kick must begin with at least a 540-degree gradient of turn.

    • The strike may be executed with either the instep or heel.

  • Consecutive Sparring Kicks – Skill 4

    • Counted as Technical Rules.

    • Double/triple kick counting:

      • Double kick = 1 kick

      • Triple or more consecutive kicks = 2 kicks

    • Minimum 7 kicks must be performed in immediate succession.

    • Kicks are counted as one continuous sequence toward the total requirement.

    • Target kick count: 7–10 kicks.

    • No penalty if the athlete performs more than 10 consecutive kicks.

  • Mixed Team – Event Assistance Regulations

    • Physical boosting is prohibited — stepping on a teammate or physically launching an athlete to achieve greater height is not allowed.

    • Piggybacking is permitted for the shoulders and backside of board-holding poles, but the athlete being elevated must remain fully active and maintained.

  • Acrobatic Sequence – Timing Limits

    • In-Music Restriction: The strict limit of one 3-second acrobatic sequence applies only within the duration of the music (between the start and end of the track).

    • No Penalty Outside Music: Acrobatic actions performed outside the music’s duration — such as during the Jeon-bi (Ready) or Baro (Return) commands — will receive no penalty.

⚠️ Coach Unsportsmanlike Conduct – Disciplinary Sequence

  • 1st occurrence: Verbal warning

  • 2nd occurrence / continued behavior: Kyeong-go (no deduction from the score)

  • 3rd occurrence / aggressive behavior: Yellow Card (no deduction from the score)
